The economic system is tragic and ironic. If money could buy self insights that lead to self knowledge the economic system would render itself irrelevant (for it would become apparent why the economic system is irrelevant). However that is the catch twenty two.
Money cannot buy insights that lead to self knowledge, so people continue to struggle, trying to make more and more money. Thinking that one day, if they acquire enough money, they’ll be able to buy the right self insights that lead to self knowledge.
Unfortunately, they cannot be sold, for they are as individual as our psyches and cannot be captured and exchanged as currencies or products. What a tragic and ironic conundrum we have created.
